I had thought I would venture into more serious topics when I switched blog platforms into WordPress, but I found the tone shift to be too jarring to really do it. I had flirted with the idea of starting a Substack for these deeper dives back in 2021, but after one brief post, I decided to put the idea in mothballs

Well, after a few months of trying to use Instagram Stories for deeper dives, I decided it was time to resuscitate the Substack account. Unfortunately, I picked a somewhat fraught time to revive it – if you want to know all the details, please check out my latest Substack post.

As for the blog, the focus will remain the same (mainly food and travels), and with ten years of blogging around the corner, I have some special blogposts planned for the next year. I hope you can join in then, and I thank you for being with me during this nearly decade’s worth of pounding the keyboard.
